A Typical Day on the Tour
Hotel pick up in Dublin City
Depart Dublin through south suburbs for 1 hour out to the sheep farm on the Kildare / Wicklow border for an excellent (optional) working sheepdog’s demonstration.
Continue East across the rugged, elevated mountain drive known as The Wicklow Gap stopping at the summit for a photo and maybe a whiskey taste before descending down into Glendalough Valley to wander the ruined monastery. Optional scenic lake walk for willing guests.
Take a relaxed local lunch and try a Wicklow craft beer in a charming Laragh restaurant with an excellent menu.
Head in the direction of Dublin through sleepy Wicklow villages and for families or sports fans we can stop for a fun Gaelic sports lesson.
Stretch the legs in picturesque Enniskerry village, a former Disney movie location and back into the city.
