A Typical Day on the Tour
Hotel pick up in Dublin City
Begin exploring central Dublin’s old docklands area around the eastern River Liffey and enjoy some music from local musical legends ‘The Dubliners’.
Journey North East through the outer city suburbs to explore the quaint Dublin fishing village of Howth with spectacular views over the Dublin Bay coast, expensive Irish real estate, late medieval castle and charming picture postcard harbour.
Return to the city via North central Dublin suburbs to a Dubliners favourite authentic pub and sometimes our lunch stop. Perfect spot for a pint of Guinness and maybe a peek into Ireland’s most famous cemetery at Glasnevin.
Optional casual drop into Jameson whiskey distillery on Bow street as we head for Dublin’s South inner city Liberties area to learn about the ‘good ol days’ of brewing, distilling and surviving in Dublin.
Optional walk around the Guinness brewing area to learn some of the unknown story of the famous brewer and his future empire!
Stop at St Patrick’s Park beside the cathedral
Finish up at central Dublin Dame Street / Temple Bar area for a stroll and some local recommendations
