I was born and raised in Dublin and have lived, worked and socialised here all my life.
For years I drove across every corner of Dublin and the Irish countryside while working in medical logistics delivering urgent neonatal supplies. That experience gave me an unmatched knowledge of Ireland’s roads, towns and hidden places.
Alongside that came a lifelong passion for Irish history, culture and storytelling. ChaperoneVIP grew naturally from those two things. A deep understanding of Ireland and a genuine enjoyment of welcoming visitors to it.
Why ChaperoneVIP Exists
Large group tours have their place. But they are rigid, crowded and rarely personal.
ChaperoneVIP was created to offer something very different. A relaxed, private tour where guests travel with a local Dubliner who adapts the day around the people in the vehicle.
Every tour is conversational, flexible and personal. You are not listening to a script. You are exploring Ireland with someone who lives here and cares about the experience you have.
What Makes My Tours Different
You deal directly with me from the moment you enquire until the moment the tour ends. There are no call centres, rotating guides or pre recorded commentary.
Each day is carefully planned around the interests of the guests in the vehicle. That might mean focusing on history, pubs, music, ancestry or simply enjoying great scenery and conversation.
