Wicklow sheepdogs demo, Irish country manor estate and scenic mountain drive to Glendalough monastery
This private tour is ideal for someone that wants to stay within a reasonably short distance from Dublin but also getting away from the city to explore an ancient monastery at Glendalough as well as a gorgeous Wicklow mountains & lakes drive with lots of fresh air and scenic spots to stretch the legs. Itinerary will be tailored especially to you on enquiry and could also include a guided tour of an amazing 1750 Irish country estate home, a private demonstration of real working Irish sheepdogs with a genuine sheep farmer or even luxury whiskey tasting at a Wicklow mountainside distillery. If you are lucky and it’s lambing time you may get to hold some newborn lambs or maybe even see some sheepdog puppies.
Back in Dublin early evening time for your dinner or fun in the city!

Full Kilkenny Experience
This custom private tour is another for those guests that want to stay within a reasonably short return time to Dublin, 1.5 hours in Kilkenny’s case.
Explore the marble city and it’s beautiful original late medieval laneways and townhouses as you stroll the medieval mile, from St Canices cathedral with its 1000 year old round tower which you can climb to the huge and historic Kilkenny castle which dominates from its strategic position on the River Nore.
Kilkenny is also a place to have fun with a strong local people focused pub scene, many locally owned stores & boutiques for shopping and also lots of whiskey tasting available too! For sports fans and active people, we can arrange some lessons in hurling for you, a native Irish field sport and a true religion in this sports mad county!
Itinerary is bespoke and will be tailored exclusively to you on enquiry
Back to Dublin early evening in time for your dinner reservation.
The House of Waterford crystal & Kilkenny castle combo

Come with me and explore the south east of Ireland on a journey that takes us to the Viking city of Waterford to see the master craftsmen work at Waterford Crystal before we head to Kilkenny’s medieval mile and enjoy a guided tour of the epic Kilkenny castle with its 800 years of history. A local lunch and a pub stop if you like before getting you back to Dublin in time for your evening dinner reservation. This private tour is custom to you and itinerary will be tailored on enquiry.

It’s a long way to Tipperary tour
This private tour brings us deep into Irelands best farmland known as the Golden Vale in County Tipperary. As well as beautiful green rural scenery, we will also get to enjoy a guided tour of what I consider to Ireland best preserved castle, ancestral home of the Butler family as well as a tour of St Patrick’s Rock also known as The Rock of Cashel or Cashel of the Kings. This sacred site was where native Irish kings were crowned later on it was handed to the church and became a very important location, literally a bedrock of the church as it’s sits up high above the town of Cashel as if floating in the air.
A local cafe lunch in the quaint little town or maybe even quality food and drink in the bishops palace is a lovely local Tipperary experience before we head back up to Dublin in time for you evening plans!
Itinerary as always is bespoke to you and will be tailored at the enquiry process.

Belfast political troubles tour and best local Belfast pubs
This exclusive private tour is designed to give you a good understanding of the often strained Irish - British relationship where you will learn of history going back to the original Norman invasion of Ireland in 1169 and right up until the present day in order to give you the necessary context to understand the more widely known ‘Troubles’ which lasted 30 years from 1969, the different combatants with their nationality and religious divisions and also the timeline from honourable Irish volunteers of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin to the IRA of the war of independence 1919 - 1921 and the misconceptions in America of the volunteers of the provisional IRA during the Troubles as well as what happened on Sunday Bloody Sunday. A fair understanding of both sides of the fence is essential and we try to achieve this always.
As ever the itinerary is tailored exclusively to you and can include a mix of ‘The battle of the Boyne’ centre, a Belfast political murals tour with a Belfast local personally affected by the troubles with a deep personal knowledge of the IRA and other paramilitary forces and signing of the peace wall.
We also make time for a local lunch stop as well as an iconic Belfast pub. On the way back to Dublin you will learn more political history via Irish rebel music.

Galway city pubs, moonshiners and craic out West
Cross the river Shannon into the West and begin an adventure into the West of Ireland as we visit the ‘town of the tribes’ aka Galway city. Having made it name as an important trading partner with the rest of the world over centuries, it is fair to say that Galway is often the favourite city of local Irish people looking for fun as its offers a beautifully colourful array of locally owned quality Irish craft stores situated in a medieval setting as well as countless vibrant and famously friendly pubs where you can meet the locals and sample their favourite beers, whiskeys and local cuisine.
As Galway centre is quite compact this tour is suitable for everyone and is a fun day of craic (Irish for fun). Optional for Whiskey enthusiasts; a visit to Galway’s first whiskey distillery in over 100 years near Galway Bay is highly recommended, you’ll learn all about the history of Irish moonshine aka Poitín and also get to taste it as well as whiskey and gin.
Itinerary will be tailored to you at the enquiry stage.

Hidden heartland tour to oldest pub, oldest whiskey distillery and ancient Celtic high crosses
Discover the lesser known Ireland with a private tour into its very heartland for a truly local and authentic experience. The perfect destination for some vacation fun combined with incredible history as not only will you stop by Irelands oldest pub in Athlone where the Irish coffee, local welcome and great stories are only matched by the pints of Guinness but we will also visit Irelands oldest licensed whiskey distillery in Kilbeggan but if you are a Tullamore DEW guy or gal we can work that incredibly high quality and well rounded tour and tasting into the plan instead.
The incredibly ornate and sacred high crosses of Clonmacnoise monastery are relatively close by too by the banks of the river Shannon. Back to Dublin for your evening dinner reservation or in time for the craic in the pub!
As always each tour is totally bespoke and elements will be tailored to your preference on enquiry.

Braveheart castle & Newgrange 5000 year old chamber tour
Take a trip back in time to the Neolithic period and discovered the ingenuity of the Stone Age farmers that once tended the land in this historically significant location on the bend of the Boyne river in County Meath, not far from Dublin but in the green and lush countryside. A locally guided tour will take you inside the ancient chamber to a time before even the pyramids of Giza were constructed. We then continue on to Irelands largest Norman castle in Ireland for a fantastic and exciting tour of the keep, located also on the bank of the Boyne, which you will remember from the smash hit movie Braveheart.
